Shirt Framing
Any recommendations? I want to get my signed Di Canio shirt framed. Ideally somewhere in or close to North or East London.

Re: Shirt Framing
I have seen plenty of the Hornchurch ones work and it always looks very professional to me.

Re: Shirt Framing
Trevor - not in person, only by talking to them and judging how professional they sounded and by looking at their websites. I will take a look in person in Hornchurch when I can get there.

billy

have you been able to compare their work at all mate?

i have an 86 signed shirt that i bought at an auction, absolutely superbly mounted and framed, real quality workmanship. i also have a hurst 66 shirt that i won and its absolutely crap workmanship and cheap materials.

id be interested to know as i want to get the hurst one re-framed.

Re: Shirt Framing
Thanks for all of the suggestions -

I called all of them, so if you are thinking of getting one done -

Matrix were cheapest at £80 but they are up north so you would need to add about £20-30 for postage and risk loss / damage.

Frame that / picture frames direct in Barking charge £85+VAT so £100

Picture This in Highams Park charge £150

Optimum in Hornchurch charge 'about £95'

The one in Barking use staples on the shirt, the one in Hornchurch sew it in place so will probably use them.

The mobile one - framedfootballshirts.com not replied yet.

I can't offer you any advice, billywh, other than to say not to get the shirt framed where JONESY got his one done.

I've had a few shirts framed by the woman in Hornchurch. Very pleased with them but unfortunately can't remember how much they were each.

Normally the one in HX is run by a woman on her own, she may have popped out for lunch or something. she is very good.

Re: Shirt Framing
Can't remember to be honest. Think it was about £100 but the quality was really good. He put claret and blue trim on it as well as an engraved plaque at the bottom (it was a thank you present for my Best Man) so it looked the business.

Re: Shirt Framing
I used this guy before and he was excellent:

Came to my office in Liv St to pick up the shirt and then came back a couple of days later to drop off the frame. He goes all over the City and London picking up and dropping off, so you don't need to get things posted. Definitely recommmend him.
